In
our experience, good people within organisations are quite often overlooked
or pigeon-holed by their seniors: they then get frustrated and leave.
This is a significant cost to the organisation.
A
more cost-effective approach is to establish profiles of people including
their knowledge, skills, capabilities, aspirations and experience.
Then based on this encourage and support everyone's continued development
but focus on key individuals monitoring them carefully to fulfil their
potential as far as possible within the organisation.
We
have extensive experience of profiling people through structured interviews
or using psychological questionnaires and assessments of personal
potential.
